TRANSrisk participated in the Towards2030-dialogue Final Conference, entitled "The “Winter Package 2016”: Which Way Forward for Renewables in Europe?". The conference was held on Tuesday the 22nd of November 2016, in Brussels, Belgium.
In the conference key results of the dialogue implemented within the initiative's framework were presented, and the way forward was discussed. The conference was divided in 3 sessions. In the 1st one, the Towards2030-dialogue initiative, its key outcomes, and recommendations were presented, while in the 2nd the trade-offs between electricity markets and renewables as well as several electricity market design elements applicable to improve renewables integration were presented. Finally, in the 3rd session of the conference policy challenges and pathways in reaching the 27% renewables target were discussed.
At the conference TRANSrisk partners had the opportunity to promote the action with discussion on energy policy and brochures distribution.
