TRANSrisk workshop "Modelling of Innovation Policy Options" took place on the 10th -  12th of October 2017, in Warsaw, Poland.

In the workshop TRANSrisk partners had the opportunity to discuss the work implemented so far and plan the next steps in relation to the identification of innovation policy options, as well as the evaluation of climate change mitigation policy pathways through the specific tool that TRANSrisk is developing.

More particularly, participants discussed the different types of models that are used in order to identify innovation policy options, as well as the level of detail that should be selected in the identification process. Moreover, discussions took place on the development of the TRANSrisk toolbox for climate change mitigation policy pathways. The toolbox will be a user-friendly application with graphic interface that will allow non-experts (i.e. policy makers and other stakeholders) to easily run country-level simulations in order to identify a list of optimal policy options.
