TRANSrisk High Level Policy Event Low Carbon Pathways: Understanding Transition in Developing Countries, 30-31 October 2018, Nairobi, Kenya

TRANSrisk partner Stockholm Enviroment Institute (SEI) organised the High Level Policy Event "Low Carbon Pathways: Understanding Transition in Developing Countries" on 30th & 31st October 2018, at the SEI Africa Centre premises within the World Agroforestry Center, in Gigiri, Nairobi, Kenya.

The event was a one-day workshop to share outcomes of the project with key stakeholders from the energy, environment and climate change sectors and included representatives from government ministries, private sector, civil society, and researchers.

It was followed with a field trip to Kenya’s Olkaria geothermal plant on 31st October where participants of the workshop saw first-hand the impressive geothermal development.
