Researchers from TRANSrisk partner Institute for Structural Research (IBS) and University of Graz (UniGraz) participated at the 36^th Edition of International Energy Workshop (IEW 2017) which was held on 12^th - 14^th of July at the University of Maryland (UMD), in College Park, Maryland, USA.

Researchers from TRANSrisk partner Institute for Structural Research (IBS) participated at the 16^th Edition of the Warsaw International Economic Meeting (WIEM 2017) which was held on 4^th - 6^th of July, in Warsaw, Poland.

TRANSrisk partner Clapes UC has given an interesting interview regarding energy poverty in Chile.

The interview was given to journalist Cristina Espinoza from the newspaper La Tercera and features insights from the TRANSrisk case study in Chile. More particularly, in the article the problem of energy poverty is highlighted, since 15.7% of the country's households is exposed to energy vulnerability. Moreover, this amount is estimated to reach 20% due to the expected rise of the electricity price.

Researchers from TRANSrisk partner Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) have developed an interesting paper entitled "Bioenergy and Sustainability Transitions in a Development context: a comparison for Sweden, Indonesia and Kenya"
