Prof. Alexandros Flamos, TRANSrisk Dissemination Leader, presented TRANSrisk in Optimus final conference on 21st of September 2016 in Athens, Greece, and discussed relevant post-Optimus opportunities.
Optimus is an EU project funded under the European Union’s Seventh Programme for Research, Technological Development and Demonstration, that has developed a package of web-based consulting tools for energy managers and energy consultancies, in order to make cities more energy efficient and sustainable. The tools utilise Information and communications technology solutions to optimise the energy use in the city’s buildings (municipal and educational buildings, buildings for entertainment and sports facilities, hotels, etc.), taking into consideration their interaction with energy systems (renewable energy systems, CHP, battery storage, etc.)
