ENSPOL Final Conference, 13 June 2016, Brussels, Belgium

Date:
Monday, 13 June, 2016 - 10:00 to 16:30

TRANSrisk partners JIN, SEI, and UPRC participated in ENSPOL Final Conference, held on 13 June 2016 in Brussels, Belgium, and had the opportunity to present TRANSrisk and its expected outcomes.

ENSPOL is an EU IEE initiative, started in March 2014, which aims to support Member States (MS) that intend to set up new Energy Efficiency Obligation (EEO) schemes (Austria, Bulgaria and Greece) or route alternative measures (Netherlands) that could create synergies with a future EEO, according to the requirements of the Article 7 of the Energy Efficiency Directive (EED). It also planned to inform the on-going development of existing schemes (Belgium, Denmark, France, Italy, Poland, UK), and support MS with an existing EEO scheme to improve it, learning from and building on existing experiences.

The conference summarised the whole project, and presented the key results, discussed them with top-level keynote speakers and high level stakeholders aimed to spread ENSPOL results.
