TRANSrisk participated in the International Conference on Economic Modeling (EcoMod 2017) which took place on 5-7 July 2017 at the University of Ljubljana, in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The goal of the conference was to promote the exchange of ideas among economists conducting quantitative analysis for policy and decision-making in the public and private sector. The conference covered all areas of applied modeling in economics.
Jakob Mayer (UniGraz) presented the paper “Macroeconomic implications of a 2°C-compatible transition path in the European iron and steel industry” which presents outcomes from the TRANSrisk case study in Austria.
