The 6th issue of TRANSrisk commentaries entitled "Risky business: Developing geothermal power in Kenya" has been published.
The issue is co-authored by Oliver Johnson (SEI) and Mbeo Ogeya (SEI). It investigates and assesses risks underlying in the development of Kenya’s geothermal resources in order to issues that need attention if accelerated geothermal development to stimulate the national economy is to be matched by benefit-sharing with local communities, effective conservation of protected areas and stimulation of local economic development.
It has been created within the framework of the TRANSrisk case study in Kenya.
