The 4th issue of TRANSrisk commentaries entitled "Energising Kenya's future - Reducing greenhouse gas emissions and achieving development aspirations" has been published.
The issue is co-authored by Oliver Johnson (SEI), Hannah Wanjiru (SEI), Mbeo Ogeya (SEI), Francis Johnson (SEI), Marieke van Klaveren (ECN) and Francesco Dalla Longa (ECN). It explores potential low carbon transition pathways for Kenya to achieve its NDC and identifies conflicts, synergies and public opinion issues which generate uncertainties and risks.
The commentary is based on stakeholder feedback gathered via a TRANSrisk expert meeting held in February 2017 in Nairobi within the framework of the TRANSrisk case study in Kenya.
