TRANSrisk participated in the 3rd SET-Nav Topical workshop “Europe’s gas infrastructure needs towards 2050: which projects of common interest should be prioritised?” which was held on 28th of September 2017, in Brussels, Belgium.
More particularly, in the workshop a list of Projects of Common Interest (PCIs) was discussed and analysed by using different modelling approaches. Ultimately, a top down priority list of PCIs was created, in order to avoid spending on underutilised or stranded infrastructure. Moreover, best practices for optimal use of gas networks and measurements of country-specific price vulnerability against gas producers’ market power was outlined.
