TRANSrisk participated in the SET-Nav Modelling workshop “Aggregating load profiles from the power sector models towards use in large-scale energy-system and integrated assessment models” which was held on 7th of September 2017, in Vienna, Austria.
More particularly, the workshop comes after the 15th IAEE European Conference 2017 "Heading towards Sustainable Energy Systems: Evolution or Revolution?", and aims to better account for the stochastic nature of variable renewable energy sources and the challenges to large-scale models by the different timescales relevant for distinct aspects of the energy system.
