TRANSrisk participated in the event "Roads towards the transition and analysis of renewable energies for the mitigation and adaptation of climate change", organised by the Department of Science, Technology and Innovation - Colciencias - of the Colombian Government, on 30th May, in Bogota, Colombia.
More specifically, TRANSrisk co-principal investigator, Dr Jenny Lieu from Science Technology Policy Research, University of Sussex (SPRU), presented the risk and uncertainties frameworks used in TRANSrisk, as well as the context and the work implemented so far within the TRANSrisk case studies in Chile (energy poverty), Indonesia (biogas), China (energy efficiency in the building sector), and Austria (steel sector). The potential of climate change mitigation through behavioural change, explored in the relevant TRANSrisk report, was presented as well.
